My interest in butterflies brought me into nature photography some 40 years ago. Although I still take many butterfly pictures, I now focus on a much wider range of natural history subjects, ranging from Bugs to Birds, Snakes to Mammals, Orchids to the Weather, and almost everything else that I find as I travel the countryside.

Within this website the menu on the left of the page gives you a choice of subject matter. For those interested there is information about the Slide and Digital shows that I am willing to present to wildlife and conservation groups and clubs within the United Kingdom. The total number of nature pictures in my Photo Library totals many tens of thousands, and have over the years been published in many magazines and books, and used as cards, and been in many calendars. I have also supplied images for various Websites.

In 1983 I joined the Royal Photographic Society, and in 1984 I gained my Fellowship of that society with a panel of butterfly pictures. I now serve as a member of the RPS Natural History Distinctions Panel, and will be pleased to help and / or discuss with members their proposed Associateship or Fellowship Natural History panels.
